it's been at least a year since I've built a box so I'm a bit out of date when it comes to spec'ing the latest or best value amd boxes. This guy wants a browser box that can play all the games he got for his kid as well as handle some amateur digital photography.

Office sweet as well.

He needs everything except a monitor. I was thinking sonata case, but the rest is up to ya'll.

check out anandtech's midrange PC guide. If his kid plays HL2, you may be looking for something better than mid-range...
