Speaking of watered down beverages...

Is it just me or has canned Coke been watered down as of late? I used to prefer it out of a can, but I'll admit I've been spoiled by having access to a soda fountain at work. Still, the last few cans of Coke I've had taste significantly watered down compared to what I remember.

Sorry... should have clarified. Bottled Coke also tastes considerably less watered down too.

Weird. I was just commenting to someone the other day that I thought Coke had become sweeter. I used to love it, but I can't really even drink bottled Coke anymore.

I think I read something recently that said that the soda in soda machines was designed for ice, that is they make it sweeter with the assumption that the drink would get watered down from the melting ice.Could that be what is going on with you? Unfortunately I don't have a source so I don't know if it's true or not.

Someone on the forums was saying that McDonald's Coke is better than it is anywhere else.

I kind of doubt they're watering it down, seeing that the profit margins are already insane.
