Take the pizza back. I tip very well and you do have change, if you can't make change then you take the pizza back.

He gave me the change and got NO TIP. F'in scumbag.

I too delivered for 3+ years and I never pulled anything like that. Though I have had to deal with some jerky customers who were about as honorable as that person. It's sad and makes me glad I don't deliver anymore.

we ordered chinese food at work the other day and the delivery guy tried to do the same thing.

total came to $20.95. the guy who went down to pick it up in the lobby only had 2 $20's, so he gave him the 40 and asked for 15 back.

the delivery guy said he didn't have change, so my coworker just gave him $21

no change, no tip.

That sucks, but maybe the guy really didn't have money. I have had customers clean me out of singles before so I was stuck with no change at houses. I have also forgotten to get change when that happened. But whenever that did happen and I needed change I'd run to a gas station, if there weren't any around I'd pay for the remainder. No sense in making them suffer for my irresponsibility.
