I have had an increasing problem with renting DVD's at blockbuster that work! I swear it pisses me off to get half way through a movie and have to skip 2 chapters because its scratched.

I know, i know, "Just take it back Citrix and get a replacement" well i have done that but the problem is i live out in the sticks and the town with the blockbuster is a 8 miles oneway.

Im just wondering if other people are having this issue.

oh Have a Happy Easter!!

Check the DVD before you leave the store. And 8 miles isn't anything son, suck it up and drive out there!

I just watched 2 crappy rented movies and they both worked fine. I never personally came across a dvd that was scratched and didnt play. But then again, I rarely rent DVD's.

I can understand that it's a pain in the ass, but 8 miles really isn't much, bud. ;)

Your not the only one, it gets real old if you sit down with take-out to watch a movie and the movie doesn't work.

I just had to drive 1/2 mile and it pissed me off.

When you rent a DVD, you expect it to work.

well, apex's are pieces of crap!

But, yeah. I guess have them checked before you leave the store. Its kinda anal, but it would suck to have to drive 8 miles just cause a damned movie didn't work.

I bought an APEX and a Toshiba. The Toshiba crapper out but the APEX is still working.

I work in Boulder. I live 33 miles east in a small town that is on I-76, the BlockBuster is in Brighton.

US-36 sucks. I dont drive it but maybe twice a month.
