How tall are you? My sister is 5'1 and my mom is 5'2 so I am used to always being around short women. They really don't have any problems with it other than the occasional having to stand on a chair to get stuff out of cabinets/off shelves.

People like you make me feel short.😛 Just kidding, I am slightly taller, but of course my girlfriend is taller than me.🙁

I'm 5ft and 22 yrs old, the only bad thing is that no one believes my age and sometimes people ask me what grade I'm in. When I say senior in college, they laugh.

lol, your user name here suits you🙂

You hit your head on things at 5'9? Do you work with midgets?

I'm 6'2, I used to tease my sister on her bad days. I'd crouch down to her level & say "Well no wonder you're so pissed off, it really sucks down here!"

most of the women I work with are shorter than me by at least 4 inches,I'm the only one who doesn't need a step stool to reach things on high shelves🙂

I'm 5'1, 5'2 on a good day. I'm also tiny. It can be frustrating. It requires good climbing skills.

I also look younger than my years, and that can be frustrating as well.

I don't remember, and I don't want to. Being 6'6" is one of the greatest things to ever happen to me - but also one of the worst.... 🙂

Just walk on your knees for a day or two.

Sucks, doesn't it?

Being tall can be hard, I am 6 foot 5 inches. Every go to the movies and you spend 2 hours with your legs smashed up against the chair in front of you.
Don?t even thing of flying coach.

I am not fat (235lbs.) but I have had 4 knee surgeries so I am not the most flexible guy but being tall kinds sucks some times.

6'1" myself. Mind you, I've got a fair bit more flex, I'd imagine. Only 20, and no surgeries. 😛

Want to trade right knees?

What do you mean, "What's it like being short?" You make it sound like you came out of the womb 5'9". Just think back to when you were shorter.

i'm 5'0" and it sucks sometimes.

i'm told i'm small and cute. it SUCKS to be short.

first off, clothes are not designed to fit you. they are designed for people nine inches taller than you. i could shop in kids clothing if i want to. fashionable clothing is ten inches too long for me. when i buy pants, i buy the "short" length and i still need to take another two inches off the bottom to make them fit.

you can't see ANYTHING. i'm in a crowd and i'm always "what what?" when people go "LOOK OVER THERE!" so i try to find holes in the crowd so i can catch a glimpse.

i can't reach anything. i need a stepstool to reach most of the things in my kitchen (i also have tall roommates though hehe)

my bf is 6'2" its cute that the mismatch is so much but its hard to reach up that high sometimes. 🙁

now if anyone sits right behind the drivers seat in the car they get tons of legroom because i have to push my seat up so much. hehe. but i'm also afraid of being killed by the airbag. driving an SUV is out of the question for me, because i think i am TOO small to drive a car that big. maybe a rav 4 at most, but definitely not an explorer/expedition/suburban etc. i've seen little women climb out of big SUV's and i wonder how that works... i can't even see over the end of the car at times and i drive a honda civic!

its nice sometimes because people wish they were smaller but it can be such a pain.

lol,I was something like 5ft 6 by the time I was 10 🙂

It is kind of funny having daughters at such opposite ends of the height spectrum,I spent years trying to convience each of them of the merits of their particular height/body type.. hahaha talk about feeling like a politician!
