BUT wait!!! There is more!!
Bundlers who agree to raise $350,000 attain a coveted spot on Obama’s national finance committee, which entitles members to regular invitations to meet with top campaign strategists and administration officials.

Young people who agree to raise $100,000 are named national co-chairmen of Gen44 — Obama is the 44th president — and gain access to the same events and strategy sessions as the campaign’s megabundlers.

Anyone who thinks Obama is a white knight is a moron. Politics are sad and easily paid for in both parties. It would be nice if the supreme court wasn't in such a hurry to extend the reach of this sort of pathetic behavior.

a "spot on the national finance committee" sounds like a political position, perhaps it isn't but it sure as hell sounds like one.

Either way, nothing new. Most of the real bigwigs paid for their spots too, might as well let some not so bigwig folk in on the gig.

Hell, it sounds like PJ is supporting the idea of getting money out of politics.

Just out of the hands of Democrats...
We can do that? :hmm:

BTW the point of this thread is to counter that BS auctioning off thread someone else started. Both sides are selling themselves to the highest bidder.

Gotta hand it to the Democrats though. They are MUCH more attached to their own money than are the Pubbies, so they are sacrificing more when they pony up.
