Speakin' of alcohol, where can I get mead?

This thread inspired me. A friend of mine used to always have lots of cases of mead brewed for our summers home from college. This year we've graduated and this crazy mofo decided to build a log raft in Minnesota and sail down the Mississippi till he got to New Orleans (I'm not making this up) so we have no suppliers. This stuff is GREAT--fermented honey just sounds so good its surprising you can't find it in stores. I was wondering if y'all knew of any places in NC where I could get mead, or any states nearby where its readily available.

Here in Indiana, at one of the stores, there is a wine called Camalot Mead made from honey.

I'll have to ask my friend up here who brews bear.
