Speakers...

I just got the 4.1 FPS 1800 speakers, and I have an Aureal SQ2500 sound card. When I listen to mp3s the sound only comes out the front speakers, is this normal?

I don't know if this is the same with Aureal cards or not. Creative has a setting for 2 speaker or 4 speaker systems. If you don't set it as 4 speaker, the back ones don't work for music.

If you have it set to "Quad" speakers, then mp3 WILL only play from the front, but when you set it to "Stereo X2", then you'll get the soudn from all 4 speakers, but the front left will play the same as the rear left, front right same as rear right....

The only time all 4 of my speakers work is in games. During normal audio i get sound just from the front.
