Speakers on a Budget

I have an semi-old Sony receiver (analog? no DTS) and I am looking for a pair of cheap, ok speakers. I've looked at a lot of stores, even at the scratch and dent stuff, and have found little under $80.

I don't have a lot of money and I'm planning on upgrading to digital sometime in the near future, so if anyone has a suggestion for really cheap speakers that will get me through next year without exploding, I will be extremely grateful.

Cheap means like sub- $40 or less if that if possible


If anyone cares the receiver is a Sony STR D350Z
