speakers make loud buzzing noise!

Hello,
I have labtec speakers right next to my monitor. When I turn on my computer, I then turn on my speakers. The speakers make a very loud buzzing noise even if the volume is all the way turned down. I am sure this is some magnetivity thing, but can someone tell me how to fix it? If i turn the speakers on(buzzzzzzzzz) off, then on again, they dont buzz when I turn them back on. So I am sure there is a simple answer and I apologize in advance for insulting your intelligence 😱 .
