speakers for pc

i am looking to buy speakers for my pc. I am using a audigy 2 so i am looking for nice set 6.1 that I will use for gaming but will also use them for my home entertainment on my 9700aiw, watching dvds and listning to music. what is the best,loudest,clearest and would look nice mounted around my room. thanks.

I got the Klipsch 5.1's running on an Audigy 2 and I love them, but I dont really know any 6.1 sets availible. I think the rear center channel is pointless anyways. If I were you, I would get the 5.1s

If you can wait a couple of months, I'd get the new 5.1 set that JBL is bringing out. Come out in November, I think.

Here's a review on them: REVIEW.

And of course a picture: PICTURE.

This 5.1 system will have a total of 450 watts!:Q

yea i say klipsch 5.1, i currently have the audigy 2 platinum ex and i have the klipsch 5.1s hooked up to it and i have the notch only on 20s and it is loud.

Mind you when the rents are gone it is usualy on the 50-60s shaking up the entire house LOL

but yea klipsch 5.1s are great, loud, clear, keeps up to the beat, and the sub is big enough to knock u out

Also i believe that klipsch has a high watt power than that current 5.1 u speak of, not sure but i think klipsch is a bit more

heh, i tend to believe you get what you pay for...of course like you said, you can only pay for what you can afford. (it's also nice to have friends who work for JBL :D)
