Speaker?

Well, looking at the inside cords of a new case, everything made sense, except one thing...the wires (have a particular name?) coming from the LEDs on the front of the case all looked normal but one has the words speaker on it.
I was wondering, what this wire is and what's it used for?

Probably goes to the case speaker which is used to play beep codes when there are errors during POST/keybuffer overflow/overheating/etc

You might not have a place on your motherboard for it. SOME motherboards have a build-in speaker that is solered to the motherboard making these wires useless.
