white sonos one - set up yesterday and we absolutely love the thing. The sound isn't bombastic like the 2.1 it replaced but the "presence" is just so real - on singer song writer/guitar tracks it's like the singer's in the living room with us. My wife loves that we can both jump on at the same time and pick songs in real time (Vs. me disconnect from bluetooth for her to jump on), and the app actually streamlines music listening. Shocked that a mono speaker can sound so real, looking forward to adding more to the house

If you play youtube videos from the phone, do the video and audio (from the speaker above) remain in sync? I have seen issues with that on bluetooth speakers.

Glad you like it. I've had the Playbar for almost 4 years and it is easily one of the most used, and most enjoyed tech purchases I've ever made. They are wickedly expensive ($700) compared to most other soundbars but it's sound and convenience is unparalleled. Even without a sub it provides a pretty loud, rich sound throughout half my main floor. It's perfect for making most broadcast TV sound infinitely better than a TV speaker and does well enough on it's own for watching movies and stuff when I don't want to use the dedicated theater setup.

i see why the fan base is as rabid as it is - one can easily lead to every room having one, with constant upgrades. Like i don't need stereo, but a 2nd sure seems tempting. then i'll upgrade to a 5 and move those 2 to the bedrooms.. it just effortless does what i want. i'm a little miffed about bluetooth missing but have been part of the apple ecosystem enough to know that sometime you have to give up on some features to streamline the entire experience, so i get that.

Would you say the sound bar is good enough for music to be the only system in the room?
