I am trying to decide what kind of speakers to get...Right now I'm trying to decide b/t Klipsch ProMedia v.2-400 and the Midiland s2 8000's. Does anyone have any recommendations or know of any other high-end speakers? Im looking for something w/ punchy base...and 4.1 or 5.1
 
Since you didn't specify a price range, let me suggest the Videologic Sirocco Crossfires. It's a 4.1 speaker setup that's supposed to thunder like nothing else. Did I mention it costs a tidy amount of $449 (MSRP, USD)?

Otherwise, I'd go with the Klipsch's, though you might have a significant wait as they're backlogged with orders. Good things come to those who wait...
