Speaker suggestion

Ive had my Radio hooked up to my PC for a few years now but I feel its time for a change. My Radio doesnt have a Digital In so my audio experience with Soundstorm has been limited to Analogue.

Alarm bells rang and I opened my wallet for a sound investment (ignore my bad jokes).

5.1 at least, must sound good with music and games being top of my usage list. DVD's are also used often but not as regular.

I do have a price limit and I am UK-based. Importing is not an option and American prices are cheaper than UK prices so mention any speaker sets that are roughly $100-200 and I'll scout out prices over here.

I also have no idea about sound systems and the sort. I just play by ear. Not possible before you buy though 🙂

A digital port is a must as my Soundstorm uses Optical Out. Soundstorm and any probable future upgrades will use digital ports I assume.

Thank you in advance.

After looking around a little, I noticed the Creative Inspire T7700 7.1 Speakers. I checked out the reviews on Newegg and they seem decent enough. Well within my price range.

However, Im no audo expert and I cant seem to spot a digital (optical) connection.

Thank you. EXTREMELY helpful.... If i can find the Digital 5x00's, I might get some.

However, I'll be looking at 7x00's as well... Im not sure whether Soundstorm can handle 7.1 properly but it looks like a viable path for a possible upgrade path.

£250 or roughly 460 USD. Way out of my budget unfortunately. Creative Inspire 5500's are £110 here and they get positive reveiws.
