Speaker Setup in XP Keeps Resetting

I continue to setup my speakers as Quadrophonic (2 front 2 rear) but something continues to reset it to desktop removing the functionality of the rear speakers. Anyone know of what I should look for to fix this?

Creative Labs SoundBlaster Live! 5.1 Sound Card
Logitech Z-560 4.1 Speaker System
 
Do you have the most up to date drivers to for your CL soundcard Citadel535?
