Speaker recommendations?

My Monsoon MH-500's are crackling and popping and I can't seem to figure out the problem so I'm thinking of moving up a notch. Any recommendations? I don't want to break the bank but I'd like to get some speakers that may last me a couple of years. I like to listen to Mp3s, gaming, etc.
Tia for any recommendations.

Btw I also have SB Live card that I will probably change out as well.

Exactly. The newer Logitech speakers are tearing up the reviews from what I can tell. Klipsch just introduced some new speakers which have a funky look to them. I would probably go the Logitech route.
