Speaker recommendations for laptop

Can anyone recommend some speakers for a laptop? Looking for something sub-$100 that runs on batteries and can handle being cooped up in the laptop backpack. Primarily for music, maybe some movie work. TIA for any help.
 
Thanks for the reply. I already have a set of headphones, but was wanting something for more than one person. I guess I can look around for some Klipsch speakers and call it a day if needed.
