Speaker question. Altec Lansing

I'm looking at purchasing the Altec Lansing 2.1 3-Piece Multimedia Speaker System-Model 221. I would like you input on what you think of these speakers. I am upgrading from my original Altec Lansing GCS100 (2 satalite speakers only) that came with my original 1998 Gateway(I have upgraded my computer since then). I thought that it would be pretty cool to now have a subwoofer added to my system. I usually do not play too many MP3's, but I'm an compulsive gamer. Any advise would be appreciated.

By adding 1 quality Sub compare to a couple of desktop Speakers there will be a huge difference in games or MP3ing...go for it or any nice 2.1 set-up.

Yep... These days if you don't have a subwoofer you're really missing out.
