speaker problems

I need some advice. I don't think my speakers are bad, maybe a driver or something. Well heres my problem. I'll open a program that has sound. It work fine, and then with out warning the sounds will cut out. After I restart it works untill t the same things happens. Anyone have any idea what might be the problem.

I'd look at your sound drivers first.

uninstall/reinstall drivers
check sound quality with other speakers
check wiring
check advanced sound settings in manual or look around 'cuz on Audigy cards, you don't get to access KHz unless you open up certain aspects of the program (which I sort of resent about Creative's software navigation... *hell I hate it)
