I am about to purchase a 5.1 speaker system and I am choosing between the Logitech Z-5500 and Logitech Z-5300e. I haven't ruled out the more expensive Klipsch 5.1 Ultra either.
I will use the system primarily for gaming on an xbox and i was wondering if discrete 5.1 Dolby digital would be better than the "matrix" upmixing the Logitech Z-5300e uses. If it is a whole lot better i might even consider the Klipsch with the Creative DDTS-100 decoder.
