Speaker Opinions...Midiland's 7100 Pluses vs. BA 4800's

Hiya Folks...
I'm currently using these rag-tag speakers and I'm looking to upgrade. I can get the 7100 Pluses for $300 plus taxes and shipping (CAD)in Canada or the BA 4800's for $300 (CAD) including taxes in shipping. I'm not considering the Klipsch's because they are too expensive here in Canada.

Basically, I will be hooking these things up to the TB Santa Cruz soundcard, and my primary use is gaming. I don't listen to music at all on my computer, and I may play DVD's on them when I upgrade my computer.

I am not technically literate when it comes understanding the finite points. For example, I do know that there is a problem with the 7100 Pluses and the sub not being used for rear sounds, but I'm not quite sure of the work around with the Santa Cruz. With the work around, can I use 5.1 sound for games with the Midilands?

Any opinions are greatly desired and appreciated...

Thanks in advance...

Dave

Get the BA 4800's, thats what I would get and I'm pretty sure most people here would also. It is recommended over the klipsch because it's cheaper first off, and it is clearer. Not as loud though.

they're the same price?!?!?

3dsoundsurge.com has a review on these.. seem nice..... but i thought it was twice as much as the BA4800's?? it has a dolby decoder and it's 5.1 vs 4.1...
