Hi,

I have the Creative Audigy 2 soundcard along with Logitech Z5300 5.1 setup.
using KX project driver.

when i select the test button, i can only get the front right and front left to work, but when it create noise, the rear right and left also make sounds. but when i select the right set to make noise, it just silence, also the woofer won't make any noise at all.

i already set it as 5.1, surround on in the speaker setup.

hmm...
ordinary creative audigy 2 series output, which is a headphone jack liked connector.

when i play mp3, winamp, all 5 speakers will sound. can't disable the rear. and when i play games, i don't know if the rear speaker is really acting the rear, or just the duplicated front speaker.

because when i use the test under kx mixer, when i press front right, both front and rear right will sound, but when i select rear right, no sound at all. same happens to the left.

how many cables do you have hooked up from the card to the "pod" or whatever you hook up to

Right. You should have three 1/8" stereo cables connecting your soundcard to your speaker system.

Do you have something like "Matrix mode" or "5 channel stereo" selected on the speaker control pod? (I don't remember if the z-5300s have settings like these)
If something like that is on, you want it off or set to 6 channel direct if that's an option.

there are 3 cable,

yellow(orange), green, black.

i lost the manual of my audigy 2, but i hook all the connectors from the left to right.
(green in the middle)

yes there is a matrix 3d option, but i have it turned off.

i remember y i don't use audigy drivers.... because when i use this driver, it takes up to 5 minutes to load windows(till i can see desktop from "welcome screen")
but if i use kx project driver, it acts normal(5 seconds from "welcome" screen to xp desktop)

I wonder if other people is happening the same.

How did you determine that order?

If you have an A2 value with color coded connectors, match up the colors. I'm not sure on the ZS and higher order.

i am at work right now, so i can't remember which color stands for which certainly.

like... black = rear, yellow for center, green for front.

for audigy, the connectors are golden coated with little icons, base on the icon, i can't tell which are which.

Are you sure the markings don't indicate which is which?

Is there any diagram in the drivers program for where things are supposed to be plugged in?

Is the manual available for download?
