Speaker/mic PCI bracket?

I just got Unreal 2K4 with the free headset. I want to be able to have my speakers on and either hit a switch to have the headphones go on, or have them both on at the same time. I have a SB Audigy X-Gamer and I tried every port combination to get this to work and it won't.

Is there something I can buy like a PCI bracket or something similar to that to help me do this?

You can get a 1/8" Y splitter that will do the job.
Or...you could enable stereo doubling and hook the headphones into the rear speaker channel (and the mic from the headset into mic)
Alternatively, there are USB headsets.
Also, you could pick up the Audigy drive from creative.

I guess the fastest way to do this would be best right now.

How do I enable that stereo doubling?

I'm not with my audigy system right now so I'll have to get back to you on that.
It may be enabled by default as I recall from hooking up a second set of 2.1s to the back a while ago.
You could just set it to 4.1 until I get back to you.
You're not using the hacked A2 software so I don't think you'll need CMSS to do it.
Honestly, I think the 1/8" Y-adapter is your best solution in the long run.
If you need a super quick fix, just unplug your speakers.

I'll search online and look for a y-adapter.

Thanks for your help and I'll check back again when you get more info on the card. Thanks again.
