Speaker hookup?

My motherboard has 4 pins for the speaker hookup but my Cheiftec case speaker only has two wires. I'm having problems getting my PC to display anything when booting up and I need to find out if there are any beep codes happening.
Oh and yes I've testing things like; hard drive does boot in another PC, video card also works, and RAM is good. The only thing I haven't been able to try is a different CPU.

Anyone know how the speaker is suppose to hookup, and I've tried moving the wires in different spots on the harness without any luck. :(

on most board that ive seen for the speaker pins on the board it usually gots wire blank blank wire and most time too it does not matter which color wire is on which pin, thats all i can guess without knowing the specific motherboard

Sorry about that, it's a Mach Speed N2PAP Lite nForce2 motherboard. I couldn't remember off hand what board it was the first time.

Yeah I thought it was also wire blank blank wire setup too but no matter which way I plugged the wires in I would not get any kind of sound. I even tried booting up the PC w/ no RAM just to make sure there would be beep codes to try to get some sound.

I am having the same exact problem as you. I am also using the N2PAP-Lite motherboard. Both the board and processor are brand new. Have you found a solution yet?
