Speaker hissing noise question

I just noticed that my speakers started to make this hissing noise. I tried it on different systems and settings and still has a hiss so I am thinking it just be the speakers themselves. Does anyone know why it hisses?

Could be a failing power supply, bad connection with soundcard/motherboard, maybe interference, cheap power supply, etc....

Is the volume (either in Volume control on the computer or on the speakers) set too high? No matter how good the speakers, they will still hiss when they are up too high with no sound pumping through them. I know this from experience.

Correctamundo.
The basic fact is that speakers will allways hiss. Its interference thats causing that.
Dont worry about it, unless its really really loud at "normal" volume levels.
