Speaker audio cable adapters

Problem: I am using a creative labs speaker setup that uses a 9 pin DIN that is hooked into a an adapter that turns it into a male digital input (headphone jack style) that I hook into my sound card.

My new motherboard has an onboard soundblaster. It has optical and digital, but the digital jack is RCA style instead of the miniplug headphone jack style.

Is there a adapter that will turn a male digital miniplug into digital RCA or optical for that matter? Another possibility is 9 Pin DIN to RCA digital.

Does such a thing exist or is it time to get new speakers?

Creative FPS2000s?

I had those for years. I finally switched up to logitech z-560s. Worth the $75IMO.

Anyone else have speaker recommendations in the $100 category +-$50 that has digital RCA or optical hookups? 5.1 setup

Z-560s don't have a digital connection.

Is there a reason you want to go with a digital connection?

I think refurb z-680s is about the best you're going to find in your general pricerange with a digital connection.
