should be good to go. the only other thing you may want but it's not necessary are banana plugs. they just make plugging the speaker wires in/out easier and look cleaner.

but again, they are 100% unnecessary and you will be fine without them.

fyi the wires you ordered are CCA (copper clad aluminum)
you might want to buy pure copper, but the main difference will be in the distance you can safely run it.

the person's probably running a ton of power through those wires to cause that heat up though :p.

Your original CCA wire you picked is more than good enough. Unless you are running longer than 80' there will be no difference.
