Have a asus P5ed that shuts off for no reason but mb and the sound card lights stay on.
I was about to change out the ps but stopped.
I am trying to fix a pc I gave to someone and there is now a electric arc mark on top of the mb coax spdif out that wasnt there before.
Question If someone tried to connect a cheap pair of speakers that were meant to go to a sound card to the mb aux coax spdif out instead would or could it short out the mb spdif outlet and mb.
Replaced ps problem solved
