spdif output and audio question

You can use a regular old RCA cord for that you dont have to buy that very expensive coaxial cable.
atleast thats what I used. becuase i needed a 50ft cable that they did not make.. at leat at the time.
 
Oh sorry, I did not use a spliter just the one cable. I have never used the expensive cables like monster for this. But I have a pretty nice onkyo reciver and I can not tell any quality loss. thought my sound is delayed for about 200 ms but i think this is just my on board sound being slower.

Any who I have just the one rca dangleing there maybe if one day that one goes bad i can switch. Or maybe just go and buy a nice subwoofer cable. that works too.
