I'm looking for a SPDIF Digital audio to Red and white RCA. Does such a cable exist? Where can I get one?

The output is a digital SPDIF which looks like an RCA cable, thus the answer to your question is digital out.

He was asking if the digital output was coaxial or optical. In your case it looks like the answer is coaxial. Anyway, what are you trying to achieve. There's no convertor cable that does that, if you're thinking of using the red/white RCA cable to connect to an analog amp. You would need a DAC to do the digital to analog conversion.

However, if one of the red/white cable contains the unconverted digital signal, then al you need would be a regular 1/8" minidin to dual RCA Y cable I think.

Just a mini to (single, not dual) rca coaxial cable for digital.

I've got a laptop that has a video connector which has an SPDIF Digital audio out on it. I'd like to hook the digital audio directly to the TV if I can. When I tried using an RCA cable in the digital audio socket and plugged it into the RCA audio of the TV, I just hear a little static. (I've got a mini to dual RCA but would like to make use of the digital audio feature.)

So what I'm looking for is a cable that can let me do this, although based on what has been said so far, it looks like I can't.
