SPDIF bracket for Epox 8rda+

Does anybody know where to purchase the SPDIF add on bracket for the 8rda+? I can't find it for sale anywhere, nor find out how much it costs.

Thanks

You used to be able to buy it directly from Epox, but either they have stopped selling it or it is out of stock..
I wanted to buy another 8rda+, but won't because I need the spdif out.

Supposedly the 8rda3+ will include it- but I want to beable to encode 5.1 with the soundstorm. Don't know if the 8rda3+ will do this.

So it looks like I'll be getting the Abit.

Coaxial SPDIF connectors are really easy to make. You can do both input and output. Optical connectors are tougher because the connectors themselves are difficult to find and you'll need a red LED and a resistor.

Zap-

You have a link on how to make a coaxial out for the 8rda+. I would really like to do this.

Epox has an optical out card for $20, which I don't want.

Dug, get a coax connector and wire the center to the + and the ground to ground on the motherboard SPDIF connector. Then, use any RCA 75Ohm cable to connect to your stereo equipment. You can make your own long RCA cable for cheap using 75Ohm RG59U and RCA ends because consumer digital coax cables are way overpriced.

Hopefully this info was right. I'm not at my own computer (which has my notes) and I'm posting this when I should be asleep...
