The SPCR edition will come with the vga duct installed and a 38mm thick tri-cool in the psu bay. The P180B is a updated version and will come with a few changes: no vga duct, a 25mm tri-cool in the psu bay, mounting clips for mounting a fan on the end of the upper hdd bay, and will have a thicker front door to combat warping. I would get the P180B unless you must have the SPCR badge.

I read that the VGA duct is no good. Is it really useless? What's wrong with it?

Just trying to make an informed purchase as I want a quieter case.

What was wrong with the vga-duct was that it's intake was right above the psu exhaust and incoming air had to make 2 90° turns before it got to the graphics card area.

The VGA duct was ineffective, and the 38mm fan in the bottom was too loud. All modern revision P180s don't have them anymore.
