There is a trailer on the home page for the new series, releasing in January 2012. I know quite a few of us were fond of the first season and the prequel, searched and didn't see any mention of this posted.

Not sure how I like the new Spartacus actor. Glad they are deciding to continue the series rather than cancel it due to Andy Whitfield's cancer diagnosis.

Hoping for the best and by that I mean, CGI blood by the megapixel and as much tits, ass, and jupiter's cock as the first two seasons.

Cool, I'm definitely looking forward to this. I love the series so far. I think the new actor will fit right in and fill Whitfield's shoes with no problem. He certainly looks the part, almost identical IMO, but his acting is yet to be seen.

It's not the kind of show that I look forward to, but I usually watch it. You just have to lower expectations, it's not going to be as smart or layered as Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones. It's a T&A show and as long as it's good T&A it'll be watchable.

This news flows from the Internet's pages like $hit from a$$!!

I thought BAS was better than GOTA, so I'm really excited to see the story continue. I wonder if there will be a lot of gladiator fights though, seeing how they aren't really gladiators anymore. They were the best part.

I might be in the minority here but I actually hope they show less T&A, sex, rape, gay scenes are more story/fighting. After awhile the whole "play some slow motion tits, sex, orgies, sweat....with the same 300-style music played over the top" just gets old. I have to sit through 15-20 minutes per episode of that stuff in order to get 40 minutes of story and fights.

It's going to be tough to fill the old Spartacus role though. I liked him.
