Xena nude is not a deal maker for me.

"Rome" set the bar too high for this one. Wish I was selling fake blood to the studio.

BTW, that was one sharp sword in the premier.

That's how I felt. I knew Starz would not be able to compete with that. Its a great show if all you are looking for is softcore porn and violence.

I thought it was a good dude flick. If you are more into Driving Miss Daisy, you'll hate this movie. Likewise if you were always the guy getting his ass kicked 'back in the day'. I understand you tell it differently now, but those that knew you know you were the ass up/face down kind of guy.

Umm, ok. This was just a terrible TV show, it had nothing to do with how small your pen0r is.

The two biggest douchebags on ATOT like it. It must be awful.

But reading reviews for it, they all seemed to have the same complaints: too much sex, violence and swearing. Since I don't think it's possible to ever have too much of those things, I might end up siding with the douchebags.

Yea, I do want my hour back from Starz... WTF.. that was pure crap from the word go. They tried to merge Rome and 300 and came up with dogshit.
GG Starz... you lose.

And it has nothing to do with the violence, swearing, or sex, it was just very poorly written, acted, directed, produced, etc. And FFS, why can't we actually try to grow a brain and have these saga's spoke in the actual language they were using and do subtitles, I know it will strain your brain to read them but it will really make it a bit more real. I am sick and tired of Roman and Greek epics that have the actors speaking with a British accent (or a bad British accent).

Yeah, Greeks and Romans with British accents are one of the most prevalent cliches in movies and television.

Hmm I saw a preview of this and was hoping it was going to be good. Haven't watched it yet and after hearing the reviews I'm not sure if I should.

lol i was laughing at the over use of 300 effects, looked like someone made it with windows movie maker. even the nudity couldn't save this shipwreck

It's fucking corny like a c-rated movie, but I can get into that. You gotta approach it like Evil Dead I think... except with a freeman style hero instead of one with badass quotes.

I caught 20 minutes of it..... horrible horrible horrible show. Even the good stuff can't save that show.

Lawless was certainly right when she said it's going to offend people... it's so bad it's offensive.

Since I read this thread first, and found out it was like "300", I was able to redirect my approach to the show. As a result, I loved it.

Had I been expecting something like "Rome", I would have been utterly disappointed.
