Seiko or Invicta...which is better? or are they of same quality?

which ever one is cheaper

Hahaha...riiiiiight.

I know quality at this level isnt what people require generally but I'm just curious if anyone has had any experience with both and has a judgement to make. I have a seiko kinetic from 5 or more years ago and I love it but I just ordered the woot invicta that resembles a rolex and I'm thinking of ordering another invicta that resembles the omega seamaster....

Short answer - Seiko

Yeah I DO care. Invicta has quite a following, but seiko seems to be much more mainstream...

Personally I have owned three Invictas and zero Seikos and will honestly say that if you just want a good all around watch then a Seiko is the way to go. I view Invicta as more of a novelty item that is priced well so long as you get it at a discount. Of the three I owned I didn't pay more than $100 for any of them and I ended up selling them a few years later for almost exactly what I paid...if you just want something to beat around then either are good, but a true honest watch from a great company Seiko is the way to go.

Good luck

Just got my 8926 and I have to say for a 70 dollar watch there is a LOT of attention to detail, from the second hand, to all of the dots and things glowing like they actually should (many cheapies dont), to the great looking polished middle band.

Might go ahead and by the 300 dollar 9937 that is the upgraded version of this thing!
