Spare parts for Zalman?

I picked up a VF-700 for a video card last night and while putting it together, I broke one small piece that is preventing me from completing this build.

The manual refers to it as "nipple A", it's a metal cylindrical sleeve that a screw goes into in both ends. I think the threads inside it are stripped. I'd return it but I can't get the RAMsinks off the card now.

I emailed Zalman RMA (they'll send parts) but have not heard back. I tried substituting other parts but nothing is working. Anyone know and place to get a replacement part or any way to get this working otherwise?

I've been looking at mine and you might try with a long screw (Nipple A + Nipple B long) that is thin enough to pass through the holes on the graphics card. You would have to then screw both sides of the metal bracket one at a time.

And in place of Nipple A try a cilindrical piece of plastic (from a pen) with the exact same length that sits between the metal bracket and the card itself.

Thanks, I actually stopped by Micro Center and explained the situation. They had me buy another and return the first.
