Our front porch was redone a few days ago, there's a stack of left-over pine on the front lawn so I grabbed a few pieces and made this guy:

Disregard the 2 whiskey bottles for now

I've wanted something like this for a while, a very spartan and rough looking rack to contrast the stainless steel in my kitchen. Now I have to figure out how to finish it 😱

You didnt resort to duct tape 😀

No, but I ran out of wood screws near the end and had to pair some randoms in, luckily you can't really see them!

Gah! Time warp, still not fixed???

Cool...I guess. Doesn't that take up more space than the four bottles it's supporting?

The point isn't just storage, but also to display your wine. In the case of champagne (not sure if it's true for other wines), but you put it on a tilted rack to let sediment settle at the cork.

Nice!

Question - Shouldn't the wine be in a dark, cool area? Sorry, I've been watching my The Office DVDs.

Wait, you're taking wine expertise from a sitcome on NBC? 🙂 lol

FYI, if your GPS tells you to drive into a lake don't do it
