SPARCStorage Multipack

I know this is a Sun hardware device, but it was given to me free and I'm having some trouble getting it running on WinXP. It's a SCSI device all around and I've got the SCSI controller installed and detected and everything. It's terminated properly (automatic termination confirmed), however, it's only recognizing three of the 12 disks loaded into it. They're all the original disks. Even the 3 disks that the SCSI controller sees don't show up anywhere in WinXP (yes, I'm smart enough to check Disk Management for them). Anyway, anyone have any experience with this thing on Windows or even Sun for that matter? I'll admit outright that I'm no SCSI expert, but I can usually figure these things out, but not this one.
