Spanning files in Ghost

What would happen if I used a file splitter like 1toX to split a Ghost image into smaller chunks so a large image would fit on multiple cd's. Would Ghost recognize it or would I be screwed? I can't for the life of me figure out how to use all the dos commands to make Ghost do it on its own. You have to buy the really expensive version for this option to be included in the normal menus and I didn't know this when I bought it. In fact, I don't even know if I've ever seen the full version in a retail store.
