Spanish Peoples!! please help me with this!!!

I need to write a story for spanish II and its a major grade and I really dont know how to translate my story! I usually just look up the words, but to put it into sentences it much harder! Please... if you can, help me translate this! I already translated this but its crap! Just went to astalavist.com and did a spanish to english translation, it dont make sense! Right now I only have the first few sentences typed up. If you can please help!

Try to write the story in spanish- it may not be quite the literary masterpiece that you have going, but it is much easier to do.

What the hell were they eating if the candle light kept getting stronger? I recommend a colonic for both of them, and a proctologist to look into that excessive gas problem.

This means that the surounding got darker as the sun set... Also these are normal kids on a date... arite? not bi or gay! hehe..this is for 9th grade class! please if any one can help.. please do.. I'll try to post up what i can translate when i get home... thanks!
