My filters are working very well - sort of a defense in depth. The stupid spammers are constantly trying to get by them by using my own email address as the sender. That is really dumb! I simply put my own address on the black list. I do not send myself notes of any kind.

Anti-spam legislation is a waste of time - how can our laws apply to foreign countries - that is where most of the spam is now originating.Also an easy fix - just blacklist all foreign suffixes, especially .nl, .ru, .it, and others.

That's not what I heard. A friend of a friend said they were really half bunny, half human and some of them have some turtle in them.

Banning foreign addresses wouldn't work for us. Places were we do the most business are in countries were the most spam comes from. That's why we're having to find a good anti-spam vendor for the whole enterprise.

On a side note. The amount of spam that normally hits out gateway plummeted over the last 24 hours. It's strange.
 
I send myself test messages so I don't blacklist my own email. Anyway, I think spammers are dumb anyway... they are spamming me with stuff that's not even legible. Seriously, a lot of the time I couldn't tell what they're selling even if I wanted to buy some.

i just dont get how spam is still profitable...i mean anyone with half a fvcking brain can tell its bs just by the title of the email 99% of the time...but i guess people are still as stupid as ever...wait i just answered my own question, nm 🙂
