Im at @home and I get that crap too. I wonder If the address was created just for the purpose of distributing spam somehow. Perhaps reporting the address to @home would help?

Hmm... I am also using an @Home e-mail and I never get any kind of spam there, although I get tons on my Hotmail account... Did you guys ever give out your e-mail address over on the Internet? Like to sign up for some free stuff?

Rule Number 1 always use a web based email form General Email. Use your personal email for personal stuff like user to user.

Rule Number 2 just ingore it it will go away. If you get something like;
"If you do not wish to be informed about future advertisements like the one you have just read please reply with "remove" (without the quotations) in the subject line"
If you do this that means that this is a live email, it like registering for spam and you will be spammed forever.

I am receiving many emails with the "remove" request. I have never responded to them. i block sender but they seem to bypass the block sender by routing through someone elses address then to mine!!!!!!!

Forward the entire message to abuse@home.com and they will kill the offending account. Sure the spammer will just create a new one but the its a real easy thing to do and any inconvenience we can cause the spammer is a point for us.

Well, here is the best way to handle it SpamCop. They offer a free account where you copy the entire message with headers, and they'll find out whose spamming you and contact the abuse department of the site. Btw, it seems the spammer tried the old spoof email trick and its actually coming from: 64.10.41.230 = 1Cust230.tnt3.waterloo.on.da.uu.net and abuse@uu.net is the proper reporting body.

I seem to get a lot of spam from uunet. I'm 90% sure they supplied the service for Freewwweb, so when they were still active, I expected the spam from them. I've heard rumors that the Freewwweb network was stil active, but I haven't tried it recently....Either way, UUNET is pretty good about cancling accounts, just let them know.
