Great job!!

I can only deadlift around 100 so you've got me beat by a lot.

Good luck in the championship! :)

nice.

I can dead lift 330lbs at 165lbs body weight. I don't dead lift or train to do it. I olympic weight lift. Snatch 187lbs:D, C&J 225.5lbs sucks as I can clearn more but can't jerk for crap....

whats your body weight?

You only do the one lift? I used to spot my friend doing squats when he was getting ready for a competition. Kinda scary to watch a bar bend over a guys sholders.

Pfff, I can do that with one hand tied behind my back :p

I don't even think a "j/k" is even warrented here, it's already implied ;)
Congrats! You're on your way to the *world* champs?? What association is this with? Anyways, that's a big accomplishment! Good luck! :)

Good grief...you're an animal!

Anybody remember that Weekend Update newsclip on SNL where they showed the Russian Powerlifter going for a world record 1000 pound deadlift or something where he ripped his arms off trying to pick it up :D

I powerlifted and did some olympic lifting in college:

Deadlift: 485
Squat: 505
Bench: 330
Clean and Jerk: 288
Snatch: 205

I think the most impressive thing I have done is when I had a bet with a buddy about how many reps I could do with 315 in the deadlift.... I did 23 REPS .... I was out of comission for about 4 days after that one :)

BTW, bodyweight was approximately 215.

look here

i compete in the male 47-53 year old master's 275 lb. class (meaning that i weight more than 242, but less than 275).
at 255 lbs i should lose some weight (flab) & compete in the 242's or even the 220's, but since i qualified in the 275 class i have to compete in the world's in it, too.

this organization doesn't include the squat. i squat in training, but only to improve my deadlift. i don't bench in competition due to injuries. i've never done olympic-style lifting.
