i am getting msges from a guy wanting to join a group to prove that 64bit encryption is so good that they don't need 128

how do we stop that .

Presuming you're talking about invitations to join RC5, why don't you simply ban the user? Go to your PM page, type their alias in the "ignore user list" box, & hit "ban user."

Another good way to end the messages would be to join the collective & start cracking.

You could do what Viper GTS said OR you could ask him to stop it or you will go to the Moderators about it and they will sort him out accordingly.

Hope this helped,

Albert.

P.S There is actually no harm in helping out with RC5, but if you don't want to help then tell him to stop bothering you. If he carris on ban him or report him.

If that is dennilfloss who is sending you PM's, he doesn't intentionally PM anyone twice about it unless they're interested in helping. Let him know you're not interested and he will not bug you.

Or if you are the least bit interested, it's a good way to give back to AnandTech at no cost to yourself. Zuni and Anand are both on the Team... in fact, Anand is the founder.

crazy you are just a nerd is all =) tell him that we need no encryption at all and play with his mind a little.

and since you live about 3 miles from me crazy...why didnt you just call me and ask because i, unlike you, am not an anandtech newbie =)
