I am about to embark on a research project that will survey the latest spam filtering algorithms and techniques. I was curious if anyone could recommend some good books on this topic. There are plenty of informative websites, but I would like to have some books as well. Thanks.
 
I don't know about the latest spam filtering algorithms... but I'd propose this as an alternative... Simply search all emails for "viagra" "penis" and "mortgage" and delete them. Make it an optional feature for the <1% of people actually looking for such things.
