Woah that thing IS huge! To consider that this is probably about 1/3 as tall as the actual BFR is going to be. (just guessing based on proportions)

Part of me wants to see it succeed so they can continue on, and another part of me wants to see it explode catastrophically as long as no one gets hurt. It's kinda like watching NASCAR lol.

I'm guessing this is closer to 1/10 of the height. BFR is going to be almost 400ft tall. I think the diameter is supposed to be around 30ft.

Finally found a decent video of the first hop. All other videos were of flames. Was only a couple meters but its progress!

However..... although yah I saw the pic of SpaceX intends the entire ship to look like once completed.... just this part of the ship alone reminds me of something.

It reminds me of the left part of the player controllable space ship named "Catalyst", when viewed from the image, from the MMO Space game EVE Online, picture bellow. According to the intro science fiction intro story to the game, the game is set in 2,300 years from now.
