Grrrr.. Hey Guys..
Well I finally upgraded my puter last weekend. Lets see I bought an AMD 1 gig, 200 fsb. + Shuttle Inc. Spacewalker AK12 mobo. The board is a temp board but it actually serves its purpose since I dont plan on overclocking. Anyway the board had a few problems at first... no video...error beeps...etc. Finally after switching my RAM into a different slot it seemed stable. Only one problem. I have a cable modem and I cant get my board to see any PCI devices without my vidoe shutting down?? If I put in a PCI card no video.. The second I take the PCI card out.. VIDEO. I dont get it!!!! The worst part is that I need to get my NIC card working in order to use my cable modem. Right im using the internal NIC card that comes inside the modem and uses a USB connection. Well whats the problem you say???? The internal NIC card drivers does not support win98 first edition (which I was running). I am now stuck in WINDOWS ME HELL!!!!! I hate windows ME with a fiery passion. I also would like to upgrade my sound card soon so I really would appreciate any help on getting this board to cooperate and teach my AGP and my PCI slots to share... Wheres the love my brother?
