Spaceball 1003 ????

Hi everyone.
I reacently found a Silicon Graphics Spacball 1003 made by Spatial Systems Inc sometime in the wonderful year of 1988... So I thougt that I would program some aplication for it. Now I have a HARD time to get any information on it, I cant even find a picture...
Now is there ANYONE who have some information on this OLD, yet cool device.
I would be happy, big, if someone could help me.

The historyinformation is about the only information that I have found. But I am looking for some way to understand how to interface whit it...
The support-guys at labtech would´nt give me och hint me anything :-/ (is´nt that there job??)
