Space Walker motherboard won't POST

I have a space walker 637 version 2. I had a celeron 266 in there and it worked fine. I just got a celeron 300a and tried to install it. I got it installed but when i start up, it says ---- mmx 450mhz. (it actually has the -). What is going on? I tried to lower the bus speed from 66mhz to around 40mhz, but i got the same result.

You need to flash to one of the latest BIOS's for the 637A mobo. Even though its still an LX board a friend of mine had a celeron 433 on the one I gave him and it worked just fine. If I'm correct you might want to check the jumpers on your mobo and if you have a Jumper block that will set all the pins to auto detect like i did it will be easy. Otherwise you have to set all the clock jumpers to auto for it to use the soft cpu detect. Actually if I'm correct that board will support all the 66MHz bus celerons with the latest bios for it. I have found shuttles Tech support to be very impressive compared to other companies especiall when dealing with their older out or date boards. So if you are able you can get online somewhere and ask them for help if you need to.
